NTSI Traffic Survival Workshop (Level 1) contains the most current information on defensive driving, collision avoidance, and the dangers of alcohol and drugs. The program fulfills the 8-hour traffic school requirement for the driver cited for minor traffic violations. NTSI is a DMV-licensed traffic violator school.
The Traffic Survival Workshop Level I is designed for the individual who is attending the program on a volunteer basis:
- receive a reduction in violation points
- to receive an insurance discount
- as an employer requirement
- to satisfy a court order
New Jersey Points and insurance reduction BENEFITS:
- NJ class removes 2 points from the NJ DMV and 5% off Collision & Liability insurance.
- A driver can take the class every 5 years to remove points from their record. If they take it too soon points will not be removed by the DMV.
- Course completion for insurance reduction expires every 3 years.
- Depending on the insurance company, the insurance savings begin upon completion of the course and not when the insurance company receives the certificate. If there’s any questions the person should ask their insurance company.
