18 Month DUI Program – 76.5 Hours

This program meets the requirements of a second or more driving under the influence conviction charge within 10 years of a prior violation. A total of 76.5 hours of program combining alcohol and drug education, group process, alcohol and drug assessment and individual interviews in the following format is required for completion. It is designed to stop the repeat offender from receiving future DUI’s by identifying the source of their habitual behavior and guiding them through the recovery process. Clients are provided extensive groups sessions and individual counseling in order to accurately identify the cause for their behavior. When necessary clients are provided additional treatment resources beyond NTSI.

Required Sessions

18 Month Program (76.5 hours):

  • Education Class – a combination of lecture and film (six classes, two hours each)
  • Group Session – meet every other week for the first 12 months (26 sessions, 2 hours each)
  • Extension Group Session – meet once a month for the final six months (six sessions, one hour each)
  • Individual interviews – meeting alternate weeks for the first 12 months of the program (26 meetings,15 minutes each)
