Fire Department Defensive Driving Training

The Fire Department Defensive Driving Training was developed for use by all fire organizations to assist participants in examining their current driving behaviors, and help them reach their goal of being a professional fire department vehicle operator.

Fire Department Defensive Driving Training

The goal of this Fire Department Driver Safety Training course is to raise the firefighter’s awareness of the factors which cause crashes, assist attendees examine their own driving habits and reduce the likelihood of crashes, injury and death. Available in a traditional classroom format, train-the-trainer or on-site delivery by NTSI.

This classroom program is approximately 2 hours in length and is most often taught as an addition to the core curriculum SAFER Driver™ Challenge, EVOC, or EVAP training programs.
