NTSI has developed effective defensive driving courses for public safety employees. These courses also focus on driver attitude and the significance of mental as well as physical focus on driving.
NTSI public safety courses provide fire and police vehicle drivers with quality information to help reduce and prevent costly collisions and collateral damages. These courses work to help drivers stay more focused, less distracted and on task to enable them to drive with better awareness.
Fire Department Defensive Driving Course:
A one to two hour classroom course that may be taught as a stand alone course or in conjunction with our four hour SAFER Driver Program (or EVOC/ EVAP Courses).

- Fire Department Collisions
- Mental Awareness
- Stress Awareness
- Aggressive Driving Awareness and Avoidance
- Response Driving
- Sensory Overload
