Arizona Defensive Driving School Eligibility

Only civil moving violations are eligible for Arizona Defensive Driving School. DUI, seatbelt, no insurance and no registration violations are not moving violations, so they are not eligible.

CDL (COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE) HOLDERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR DEFENSIVE DRIVING.

DIVERSION PROGRAM.  This includes violations received while driving a personal and/or commercial vehicles.

Per A.R.S. 28-3392(c)(2): *Violations marked “CM” need prior approval by presiding judge of the jurisdictional court.
