Features
The NTSI Basic Driver Improvement program has been created to be as convenient as possible for the student. This BDI course is designed as a 4 hour program, but you work at your own pace; you have complete control of when you log in, how many sessions you wish to complete the course in, and when you can log out. You may complete the program in one sitting or use your login id as many times as you wish to complete the reading according to your own schedule; please note that you must complete the 4 Hour Driver Improvement course by your court deadline date.
Be sure to complete your Basic Driver Improvement course with enough time to turn the certificate in to the required agency. If the certificate must be expedited, a fee will apply (contact our office at 1-888-497-4499).
If you have any questions or require any assistance, you may contact us at ntsise@ntsi.com or by phone at 888-497-4499.

Important Notices
If you received a traffic citation and have a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), the Basic Driver Improvement course may not be taken for point reduction/removal as mandated by the State of Florida. Effective July 1,2005 the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will assess points to all individuals with a CDL whether or not the violation occurred in a private or commercial vehicle.
The final exam has no timer, but must be completed in one sitting.
If you possess a CDL, the Basic Driver Improvement course may be taken for personal fulfillment and edification only. NO POINTS WILL BE REMOVED for the completion of the BDI course by any driver with a CDL. The BDI course may still be taken for Insurance Discount Purposes. (F.S. 627.06501)
Please note: The Basic Driver Improvement course does not satisfy the 8 Hour Aggressive Driver Course or the Driving While License is Suspended or Revoked course.
Taking the Course
The Basic Driver Improvement course is divided into 10 modules. Once you complete all 10 modules, there will be a final exam. This exam is made up of 40 questions based on the information within the BDI course. You have 3 attempts to complete and pass the exam. NTSI’s systems will grade the tests and notify you immediately whether you have passed or failed. A score of 70% or more is required to pass the exam. Upon successful completion of the Driver Improvement course, the certificate will be sent the following business day to the email provided during registration.
NTSI offers rush delivery of the certificate for an additional $10; simply contact our office at 888-497-4499 to have your certificate sent the same day.
Audio Read-Along
NTSI’s Florida BDI course has an optional audio read-along built into the course. If you would rather sit back and listen to the course instead of reading, then the Audio Read-Along option is perfect for you.
